Thai Massage ("nuat thai") is also known as Thai Yoga Therapy or Thai Bodywork.

This form of massage was developed thousands of years ago in Thailand as part of a multi-faceted understanding of wellness and balance. Thai Yoga Therapy is used not only to treat ailments but as an important and necessary component to maintaining one's health.

Performed closer to the Earth on a floor mattress in comfortable clothing, this deep, full-body treatment incorporates stretching of the joints and muscles as well as applied pressure to sen lines which run throughout the body conducting energy. These Thai techniques help restore the body's natural flow, easing and releasing previously congested energy and clearing the way for balance. Experiencing Thai Massage will not only impact the physical body, but the layers of subtle awareness contained within.

Thai Yoga Massage with Brooke
I have been connected to Thailand, teaching, and a life of learning since my Peace Corps experience in Thailand over 20 years ago and subsequent years spent throughout Asia. More recently, yoga has brought me back to teaching and back into the realm of Thai healing arts. Being a yoga practitioner since 1997 and a teacher since 2006, I am organically drawn to practices that serve both recipient and healer. I continually study with my teacher, Chuck Duff, at the Thai Bodywork School of Massage in Chicago.

Life is a process of learning, adjusting and practice. Come back into your body and INjoy the journey that awaits.

I am available for appointments at Seva on Tuesdays and Thursdays for one, one-and-a-half, and two hour sessions.
