I have been a registered nurse for 14 years and
those years have been very hard on my back. I have suffered from low back, hip
and leg pain since 2000. All the traditional medical treatments such as
medication, physical therapy and epidural injections had not been successful in
alleviating the pain.
I tried yoga in the hope it could help bring some relief
from the pain. Now, because of yoga I no longer take any pain medication or go
for treatments at the pain clinic. I have gained flexibility and strength and
can do poses I never thought possible before starting my yoga practice. I am
very excited about the changes in my body and mind. Yoga has inspired me and
released me to express and explore what I am truly capable of
doing. |
