Seva Yoga news: december 2007
|
 |
Here at Seva, the studio is toasty warm and the energy of the last class still lingers in the air. As we both look upon our old space, it is a time to reflect back over the past 15 months since we first opened the door. This has been a beautiful way for us to connect with the people of this community, sharing our passion for Yoga and its principles with so many. We feel grateful and are honored to have had such an auspicious beginning.
We look forward to the coming year with full hearts for all that we have learned and with anticipation for all that will be.
Peace & Love-
Michele and Daniel

This 4 week workshop is designed for those students who wish to go deeper into their yoga practice. The class will not only consist of meditation, but readings pertinent to the practice of meditation. There will be group discussion that explores students experiences and questions about meditation. In addition to this, the class will introduce exercises designed to heighten the students awareness of what brings them into or away from living in the present moment.
The purpose of meditation is to help students step more fully into their lives. To experience the richness that comes with living each moment in its fullest. Meditation develops the ability to live in the present moment and supports the growth of intimate relationship both with the self and others. It also creates a safe container to experience ones emotions fully; a place of stillness which helps to creates a beautiful calm and clarity about ones life.
This workshop is an invitation to come back to the present moment so you may recognize how precious and joy filled your life truly is.
Classes held Jan. 3, 10, 24 & 31.
Minimum of 4 or 5 students.
$40 for pre-registration,
$45 first day of class.

| I practice Yoga and Meditation because of the joy, enthusiasm and fullness it adds to my life. It is my desire, as an instructor, to share what I have learned with my students and to guide them on their own Yogic path. In 2001, I completed my 200 hour RYT and I have continued my studies through various workshops and also on-going training with Sara Davidson |
