Self Explorations with Nancy McCaochan

Monday, January 30th, 2012

March 3/4, 12-5pm each day

Through the Chakras: March 3

Chakras, wheels of light, spin within us, supporting our life energy and defining our perceptions and our experiences.

Located along the spinal axis, the 7 major chakras are associated with specific life functions. In this workshop, you’ll both learn about and experience these energy centers. Lecture, meditation, visualization, mantra, mudra and asana combine to open you to the spectrum of light within.

At the Wall: March 4

Walls outside; walls inside: yoga teaches us to address our barriers and use them to deepen our experience of life.

The workshop uses the studio walls to explore core integration, lines of energy and muscular actions within key asanas. It playfully makes use of external feedback to activate our inner eye so that we may open ourselves more fully to the movements of prana, to spirit, and to our own innate wisdom and beauty.
